Meet Detroit’s youngest entrepreneur 10-year old Asia Newson. Don’t let her age fool you. This young lady is determined to show people of all ages, but especially young people, that they can make their own money through business ownership.
When she’s not in school you can find Asia selling her candles to people on the street or at major local conferences. This isn’t just isn’t just any type of pitch. Watch the video below to see her in action. She runs a candle-making business with her father called Super Business Girl. She likes to do what she likes to do when she likes to do it.
She’s got the right stuff coupled with confidence which was evident when she pitched Quicken Loan founder Dan Gilbert convincing him to meet with her. Who can resist that energy and a good business plan?
Her goal is to someday be Mayor of Detroit on her way to the White House as President of the United States of America. If her current success is any indication, I’ll be voting for her.
Hear from Asia in her own words.
