This Is The Black EVEolution

This is the decade of the Black EVEolution. Evolution means “a gradual process in which something changes, especially into a more complex form”. And Eve represents womaness. Together, Black EVEolution is about black women realizing and living in their next level of greatness. And we’re for it.

Black women are at the tipping point of health, wealth, and happiness. We are more educated than ever before. We are the fastest growing demographic of entrepreneurs. And we are rising in the ranks of Corporate America, however slowly it may be. While it’s also true that black women have the worst health and wealth statistics in the country, they are also uniquely positioned to reverse these trends and evolve beyond the damaging stereotypes that hinder us at work, in relationships and in the world.

The New Black Chick was founded to unapologetically improve the narrative for and about black women by providing access to quality content to help them be healthy, wealthy, wise and woke. Our Black EVEolution content is meant to expose the myths that surround black women, tear down stereotypes with facts, and equip black women with the tools they need to succeed personally and professionally.
