I know this one seems a bit strange today. Really? Nourished. Yes. What I mean by that is I have enough food and enough access to food (real food). I can get in my car and head to a nearby full service grocery store, two in fact are within five miles of my house. Growing up I was nourished. I call it my parent-controlled diet. I never wondered where my next meal was coming from. There may have been times when my parents did, but I didn’t know about it.
And since I’m a little overweight you could say I’m a little over nourished, right? Wrong. Your body holding on to fat (aside from other medical reasons) can be a sign that it’s in need of more essential vitamins and minerals. Getting the right nutrients can allow your body to actually release fat. There’s a whole science about it that I try to convey to you in the future.
Do I always eat the right things? No. I’m eating the right things 85-90% of the time. It becomes a little more difficult when I travel to find healthy options on the road. Even the “healthy” options at some fast food restaurants are not really great choices. Moderation, moderation, moderation.
When you’re body is nourished your soul is nourished by the sheer joy of being able to move throughout your body without boundaries.
